Mike grew up in Lubbock, TX. and graduated from Texas Tech in 1987. Just two years after marrying Tracey in 1989, they moved to Tulsa, OK. to attend seminary at Oral Roberts University where he received a Masters in Theology. They moved to Amarillo in 1993 as Mike began an eight year stint as the Children's Pastor at Trinity Fellowship Church under the leadership of Sr. Pastor Jimmy Evans. Mike also served as an elder for several years at Trinity before answering the call to minister as a senior pastor. The Brocks moved to Dumas, TX where they enjoyed over four years with a wonderful church (Grace Thru Faith) that grew to over 300. Mike senses his life's callings are to help turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and to help raise up spiritual fathers and mothers. His book, Power Play - How Dad's Empower Their Kids Through Play, is aimed at helping dads turn their hearts to their kids and to prepare them for life's challeges.

Tracey grew up in Floydada, TX., attended Oral Roberts University as an undergrad and obtained her Bachelors in Psychology. She took a detour from her calling as a counselor and actually worked as a CPA in the business world for several years before meeting Mike. She was happy to return to ORU and to become an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) which she has been doing for the last 15 years. She works part-time while she homeschools the kids, leads Marriage Intensives with Mike, and often speaks at women's conferences. Tracey feels called to help bring innner healing in peoples lives while equipping them in their relationships.

In 2006 they sensed God's leading once again to step out in faith to offer themselves to help bring encouragement and healing to a broader field in the body of Christ and to do more ministry together. They have spent the last year and a half seeking the Lord and being trained under the teachings of Dr. David Ferguson, Dr. Bruce Walker, Jim Walters, and the rest of the team of Great Commandment Ministries and the Center for Relational Care. They have now began leading 4-day Marriage Intensives for couples and continue to lead lighter retreats called "Putting the Fun Back in FUNctional". They greatly enjoy their three children and their home church, Church of the Hills-Cedar Park, TX.
